Christian Fellowship

It is vitally important that we experience the riches of Christian fellowship. Since Christ calls believers not only into fellowship with Himself but also with each other, the communion of the saints necessary for our spiritual well-being.

Christian Fellowship is Necessary for our Spiritual Vitality and Maturity

The meetings of the church are the key times for cultivating Christian fellowship. We are not talking about mere friendship or social networking but something that is uniquely spiritual. Christ will to minister to us in a number of ways. Part of that is through the members of His body, the church.

If we are content to be by ourselves and avoid the communion of the saints we not only hinder our growth as believers, but open ourselves up to attacks by spiritual forces of darkness and the world. Early believers gave themselves to "fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and prayer. (Acts 2:42)"

We welcome you to become a part of our Christian community as we share the things of the Holy Spirit in the bond of love. Though we are not perfect, and we fail in many ways, we are seeking to be that community of faith and grace in this world which is an alternate society.

Heidelberg Catechism Question 55. What dost thou understand by the Communion of Saints?
“First, that believers, all and every one, as members of Christ have part in Him and in all His treasures and gifts; secondly, that each one must feel himself bound to use his gifts, readily and cheerfully, for the advantage and welfare of other members.”
